ok so i bought it.. and then pluged it in and installed the drivers.

but if i shut down my comp and restart it with the mouse in the comp crashed during start up... any ideas?

Is 'USB mouse' option turned on in bios? If it is or isn't, try changing it to the other option.

Also turn off 'usb startup device', ie the option to use a usb boot disk, sometimes it gets confused, mice do look an awful lot like a boot disk don't they?

the mouse works so i assume the mouse in usb thing is on.. how do i turn off usb as a start up device?

Sometime you need to turn USB mouse option off, the mouse will still work, you only need it on for really, really old crappy usb mice, I think. The start up thing... I dunno, different in every bios.
